It is important to know that in Canada sexual assault is illegal, and therefore a crime. As with all crimes the offence of sexual assault is defined in the Criminal Code of Canada. Sexual assault is the legal term used throughout Canada to refer to any form of sexual contact without the voluntary consent of both parties. Kissing, fondling, and sexual intercourse are all examples of sexual assault if they are done without voluntary consent |
